This is a close up view of the U.S. coast line.  If this storm approached the U.S. coast, the image also includes the track of Tropical Storm / Hurricane "ANNA".  The official National Hurricane Center records indicate this tropical system became a "Named Storm" or Tropical Storm on Wednesday, July 25, 1956 .  The maximum strength for this storm on the Saffir-Simpson Scale was "CAT 1".  The initial location of this storm was Latitude 20.6, Longitude -92.7. This storm was downgraded to a Tropical Depression or dissipated on Friday, July 27, 1956.
